Beim erstmalig ausgetragenen Turnier zu Ehren des verstorbenen Tom Mc Laughlins, organisiert vom gleichnamigen Irish Pub, konnte eine Auswahl des TVG den ersten Titel der Saison einfahren.Nach einer ruhig verlaufenen Gruppenphase traf man im Halbfinale auf "Team Tollwut", das von Coach Bernd Flottmann und der nominellen 10 der Grafenberger, Pierre Marcel Müller angeführt wurde. "Team Tollwut" war allerdings ohne Chance gegen die TVG-Auswahl, so daß im Finale eine sehr starke Abordnung eines Kölner Irish Pub, die "Cölschies" wartete.
Ein enges, intensiv geführtes Finale blieb torlos, so daß der Sieger im 9m-Schiessen ermittelt werden musste. Da alle Grafenberger Schützen souverän trafen und Keeper Zippi einen goldenen Tag auf der Linie erwischt hatte und gleich 2 Schüsse abwehren konnte, durften die TVGler am Ende den Pokal in die Höhe stemmen.
